General Chart of the Coast from Gay Head to Cape Henlopen (from a triogonometrical survey). For an unfinished study of Ice Formation along Atlantic Coast. Note also tightening of contours at continental shelf break. This was the first nautical chart to show the rapid change in slope from the continental shelf to the continental slope at the "break."
