Single sheet chart of New York Bay and Harbor. Compare title block of this chart to image cgs05596, published in 1844. The name of A.D. Bache, Superintendent is added to this edition. Hassler died in November 1843, just before publishing the New York chart which was nearly completed. This was tragic as he has been repeatedly criticized for not publishing.
