20140907T200537Z
11610 thumbnail picture

20140920T193306Z
11621 thumbnail picture
A swimming shrimp next to a canyon wall. The red dots are lasers lights ten centimeters apart but as the shrimp is not on the canyon wall, it is difficult to measure its length.
20140921T140222Z
11622 thumbnail picture
A large squat lobster with sediment covered chela.
20140921T160951Z
11623 thumbnail picture
The same squat lobster seen in image expn3022 but better illuminated. It seems strange that this squat lobster would be so "dirty" appearing along this rock outcorp.
20140921T161228Z
11624 thumbnail picture
A large lithodid crab crawling along a rock wall. This crab appears to be missing its left rear leg. They will regenerate so this should be a temporary inconvenience to the crab. The two red laser dots below the crab help to determine its size as having a carapace at least four inches across and a total legspan of almost 1/2 meter.
20140921T162807Z
11625 thumbnail picture
A large lithodid crab crawling along a rock wall. This crab appears to be missing its left rear leg. They will regenerate so this should be a temporary inconvenience to the crab.
