Manuscript sheet of the various passes of the Mississippi River compiled from
aerial photographs. This was the first major photogrammetric project of the
Coast and Geodetic Survey. The chief of party for the Coast and Geodetic Survey
was Lieutenant G. C. Mattison, USC&GS. Photography was done by the Naval Air
Service.
