NOAA Photo Library Image - expl7819

A unique appearing geologic formation. Perhaps a mud volcano with associated oil and gas seeps. There are dark globules in the photo that might be rising oil globules and the sediment is flecked with numerous black spots. Black material covers portions of the interior of the ring of this seeming mini-mud- volcano caldera.
