NOAA Photo Library Image - fish8165

An aerial photo of the western shore entrance to Admiralty Bay. The light patches in the foreground is the Patelnia chinstrap penguin colony with its breeding groups. The area beyond is a horizontal lava intrusion called Blue Dyke with its string of rocks going into the Bay. Further ahead still is the De May headland, about 4 miles from Copacabana field station.
