This group of Americorps volunteers from northern Colorado called the Colorado
Range Riders was assigned to help restore a portion of southern Mississippi
impacted by Hurricane Katrina. After participating in three days of coastal
cleanups and weeks of restoring damaged homes, these hard working young adults
were rewarded with an educational kayak tour of the Grand Bay NERR.
