The habitat and marine chemistry section of Auke Bay Laboratories, Alaska Science Center (NOAA) is collaborating with Norwegian researchers in the study of polar cod. The experiment is in Ny ¸lesund, Svalbard Islands, the fourth northernmost permanently inhabited location in the world.
