A balloon's eye-view from 96,925 feet. Dr. Hall and his student Allen Jordan
attached a camera to an atmospheric weather balloon that attained a
maximum height of approximately 100,000 above sea level. This image was taken
at 96,295 above sea level and captured a magnificent view of the Front Range of
the Rocky Mountains and the curvature of the Earth.
