NOAA Photo Library Image - con00158

The lazy Big Fork River swollen to a raging, torrent of powerful water surging over its banks. Normally, people walk across and have their picture taken standing on the rocks at this location in the Big Fork River. Northern Minnesota had massive flooding in June 2014. Most lakes and rivers overflowed their banks including the Big Fork River, Rainy River, and Rainy Lake.
