NOAA Photo Library Image - expn4022

A large white coral (zigzag coral?) that appears to have grown on a dead "black" coral stalk. A yellow sponge and a live "black" coral with associated large orange squat lobster is seen on the left. Compare that squat lobster to the one seen close to the junction of the major branches of that coral. The chelae of another pinkish white squat lobster can be seen in the upper right of the coral.
